How it all started
At the age of 13, I was one of the youngest students enrolled in Mission:Renaissance fine art program in Montreal. It is then that my interest for drawing was transformed into a real passion for fine arts.
There, I studied the foundations of classical drawing and painting in charcoal, watercolour, oil and soft pastel, which became throughout the years, my medium of choice.
When I started teaching at this same school, at the age of 17, I knew that I would want to be doing this all my life. I was an artist, I was a teacher, and I would do everything I could to stay on this life path even if I knew it wouldn’t be the easiest one.
Teaching alongside my two amazing teachers, artists and mentors, allowed me to deepen my understanding of the fundamental drawing and painting techniques to be in a position to better share them with other students looking for inspiration, knowledge and skills.
After teaching there for 6 years, I moved to Western Canada for 3 years, where I learned English, toured around Alberta and British Columbia, painted, exhibited and sold my pastel landscapes in group exhibitions in Calgary.
When I came back to Montreal, I turned my apartment in Villeray into a home studio and continued to teach there for almost ten years.
Not just another art studio
Seeking new challenges and wanting to offer a better space for everyone, I now moved the school to a fantastic new location in the heart of Griffintown. The studio is now located in this magnificent building, an old bank of Montreal from 1894!
The opening of this new art studio is an important step for me, but most of all, it is a very good news for everyone that loves realistic art and the ones that wish to learn to draw and paint in an extraordinary way.
As varied as they are, my students all have one thing in common: the desire to learn how to draw and paint in a realistic style through a structured approach inspired by the fine art tradition.

Come network, inspire, learn and share
I hope to see you all this Sunday!
